N900 going into "silent?" mode?

hi community, lately, occasionally I would not be able to hear anything coming out of my phone, The volume would get muted, and if I call anybody, i cant hear anything. i know the FM transmitter is OFF, and the phone is in Normal mode. Even if I un-mute the phone, I still cant hear anything. I have tried restarting, and that still doesnt fix it. The only way I am able to get it back to normal is by taking the battery out and putting it back in. Any suggestions? Thanks :)

Well, I figured some things out. I have overclocked my phone, and when I take my battery out and put it back in, the default kernel settings do not get loaded, and the phone works fine. So its gona be something with the power kernel. Can anybody help?

it cann't be power kernel. If you are able to listen with default settings you are still running power kernel just that the clock frequency is 500-600. try putting ideal profile and mildly overlock to 805 not more and see if you still see the problem.
