Recovering deleted text messages?
 

Recently I had a bit of a problem with my N900. When I tried to send a text message to one of my contacts, the message would not send. I had to clear the entire conversation history and start again before the message would send.

Now, this wasn't a huge problem until recently. One of the contacts I had to do this with was someone from work. Now, though, I need to prove that I sent a certain text message to her because she's claiming that I didn't.

Is there any way I can recover text messages that have been deleted?

unless u took a backup of it before u deleted ur database..

No, I've never done a backup because I don't know how.

But I read somewhere else that I should still be able to access the messages somehow, since I only cleared the message history. Only the post that I found didn't make a lot of sense to me, and I couldn't follow the instructions he gave.
