thinking of getting htc HD2 as 2nd phone
 

anyone know if the $10 tmobile data plan works with the hd2? ebay was selling one with gingerbread OS..thinking of getting this for my wife...tia guys

Will work for a few days/weeks and you will receive SMS to upgrade the data plan. Android is a little bit "controlled" with T-Mobile. (especially if you buy T-mobile android). If you get overseas android (pentaband (if any but unlikely) or edge on tmobile) it should work.

i actually have a hd2, i flashed it myself. I have friends who also have the $10 plan, for some reason one girl who had it, worked just fine, and another said it didn't work when he put his sim card inside, so i don't know what to tell you.

I myself have the $30 plan and it works wonders as a android phone, with CM7 it seems faster than any new phones on the shelves lol
