Camera App - No Video Recording?
 

I haven't found it elsewhere (I did search the forum), so here is a new thread:
With the newest firmware 4.2007.26-8 the camera app doesn't record video anymore. Did I miss something or has this video recording feature been dropped?
I mean, the quality was very bad, and voice/picture were not really synchronised under 3.2007.10-7, yet I used it from time.
Does anyone know of any other way to record a video with N800?

The v2.9 that comes with the new firmware doesn't seem to support video.

However the oder v2.7 does. It has to be installed from the file found here

Great, it was exactly what I was looking for. The 2.7 version installed without problems. The videos it records seem to be a bit better than before, at least as far as audio/video sync issues I had under the old firmware are concerned.
