issue with uboot for kernel power
 
cant install
i got kernel power 47 i think
i dunno its the latest one
thing is, uboot for kernel power says kernel power modules is missing
what now?

when u turn on ur n900

choose normal kernel

connect with internet

lunch x-term

root

apt-get update

apt-get upgrade

..

it will install the missing files ( modules )

..

its already installed
apt-get install kernel-power-modules
says its up to date

"uboot for power kernel" is a power v46 kernel and it needs kernel's modules v46 (you have v47 one instead).

If you want u-boot on power kernel v47 you must add it by hand yourself : http://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?p=876169&postcount=1

Simply do not try it if you do not want your hands to become dirty :( There is always the possibility to downgrade your kernel to v46

cant the devs fix this?
its been ages wince v47 cames..
plus my usb port is broken.. i make one mistake and my phone is useless till i get it fixed *an im too cheap for that*
i'd rather buy a ps3 game disc then fix it :P
