N9 or samsung galaxy s ii
 
HELLO and good morning....

i need an opinion which phone should i choose between n9 and samsung galaxy s 11.....thanks...

i am on the same.

i am leaning for n9 cuz i like the interface. and galaxy 2 likely remain more expensive.


galaxy 2 have 1080p video, flash video support in browsers.

and apps i am forced to use like live profile, whatsapp.

but n9 nicer camera, better ui, faster, more realistic battery life, dual LED flash and WAY better multitask.
and many apps i like from n900 will carry over.

yes n9 doesn't take 1080p videos, but who needs it?? it will only take all ur storage space. plus, I have sgs 1.. camera is a real crap.. i doubt sgs 2 will be the same..

another one.. default browser of n9 will not support flash video on it, but Fennec(firefox) will definitely have Flash support on it. :)

Get the N9 (if you can). Living in nl, uk, fr, se, ger you apparently will not get it.

Do you need to make a decision NOW ?

If so, is FOSS THAT important to you ? IF yes, get the N9.

If not, WAIT until you have a chance to try the N9 for yourself. You will NOT be able to make a proper decision on how "sexah" a UI is until you get your hands on it.

In terms of apps - well - you have NFI what apps will get ported for N9, so you cant do a comparison either

If you want android then just get other android phone.. youll save more.. plus, who needs dual-core 1.2GHz Samsung Orion processor?? No one needs dual core if your phone doesn't shot any lag( like n9) compare to android using dual cores and it still lags..

Are these samsung orion processors INFERIOR compared to Texas Instrument processors used by Nokia?

no, they are the same A8-A9 series , only difference its chipset , TI is the best in battery life. reason nokia use it.
