Broken Google Talk (video/audio)
 

In Marco Barisiones blog http://blog.barisione.org/2011-06/broken-gtalk-calls/ I could read what I already experienced on my n900 - google calls and video chat don't work anymore.
Barisione says, "this affects only calls from GTalk to gabble" but unfortunately i can't gabble at all. (tryed with n900 to gtalk, and empathy <-> n900)
Am I doing something wrong, or is this, because telepathy-gabble is outdated on the n900?

google has changed gtalk protocol and gabble on n900 is outdate.

I applied maemo gabble patch on top of last upstram version weeks ago. So I created last version for maemo. DSC (Debian source package) is now at github: https://github.com/community-ssu/telepathy-gabble

If somebody want, can try. First is needed to build deb package from dsc package.

Not now. I do not have scratchbox installed (and no time for it) and madde cannot build it. So only dsc package.

For the record, I've filed a bug https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=12387 in the maemo cssu which seems to be the only valid channel for updates right now.
