Camera Problem
 

Greetings,
I'm facing camera problem. When i press camera button all i can see black screen I can see options but the screen remains black.
I tried using flashlight it says "unable to initialize flashlight
camera is in use by another applicaiton"

Can anyone please help me out?

Try reboot (or open lens cover :D )

Then i'd recommend use fuser /dev/video0 to see what's locking it, but it seems fuser doesn't work at all. You can try this instead:
lsof | grep "video"
or
lsof | grep "camera"

I think, someone else had similar problem and it was conflicting with power kernel. Try reinstalling/update kernel power, if you have one.

ok i tried reinstalling kernel power ..i uninstalled it first and tried to reboot it .....now i cannot even turn on me cell :S

its shows "NOKIA" and then it turns it off


i need urgent help on this

MIght have to reflash if it doesn't come on.

As for camera issue, are you using cssu and bless n900/fcam? If so, you need to re-install the fcam drivers, (it's on another thread somewhere, I had the same problem).

Also, with the boot thing, is it in a loop? get's to nokia then reboots? If so try, booting with the keyboard open.

I tried booting with keyboard open but still its the same


so how do i flash it? can you link me?

Did you uninstall it via app manager? If so, then, i'm afraid, you need to reflash. There should be "Deinstall Kernel-Power" in your program list, use it next time to delete power kernel.
You can try upload kernel only from your PC. See wiki instructions, end of section "Deinstallation".
