Need Android on N900
 

Hi is there anyone in Delhi/Kanpur (India) who can help me install Android on my N900. I have tried to read through a couple of posts and articles, but its too damn technical for my sake:confused:. Well maybe i can do it but am scared to wreck the phone.

So If anyone can install it for me in those cities, it would be appreciated.:D

If memory serves me correct, have a look in the repositories there is a Nitdroid auto installer. As long as you have a sd card in 4gb I think and an internet connection it does it all for you. I dont think its the latest release but its a start. Im sure I will be corrected by someone if it isnt there anymore :)
As eefo has said above though the guides on the wiki and video tutorials are quite in depth.

That's it. But I found the latest nitdroid very unstable, plus pointless since doesn't support calls and who knows if it ever will, now that the main developer just bought the sgs2.

Just FYI: Once you post your personal information out there, it's unlikely that you can ever take it back. Case in point--people who can quote the original message. Another case in point--Googling for this thread and viewing the cached version. Just saying: Please be more careful GENERALLY about posting your phone numbers, addresses or any other valuable personal information out on the Internet.

For example: I will forever be haunted by what I did for that Klondike bar. ;)

now i'll go to his house tonight with surgical gloves and a sharp knife and make sure he never comes to this forum again and gives out his personal information.. if u know what i mean..
