an arm11 1GHz = 600MHz arm cortex a8
However, nothing indicates it's holding an arm11 but I expect that.

nokia gave a linux phone 600mhz.. a s60 with 512 ram and 600mhz processor?

512MB on RAM is a lot. Current C3-00 has 64MB of RAM.

even if, u cant fit a good battery with a 1ghz processor and 512 in that tiny thing.. we all see how n900 turned out..

i guess they are making in a bit future proof.

s40 is turning smart. by anyone standards.

nokia will keep it martket share... but not because WP7
