'Unable to play media. Audio in use by another application.'

My N900 throws the unable to play media error at me even though no audio applications are running. I've tried killing a few apps in htop but nothing seems to work. Any help?

Try rebooting, it will probably help.

i'm getting this message did it ever get sorted? noticed it did it after removing ringtoned.

scratch that needed to change ringtone then save then reboot. working now :D
