N900: Navit won't start
 

hi everybody,

this is on N900, Maemo5
add. repos: extra, extra-devel

I've tried now all possibillities I could find, tried the navit-install from bokomoko and after this from chpohl, following thoroughly their howtos, I just can't get rid of the following error:

navit:main_real:Error parsing 'etc/navit/navit.xml': Error in line 1 char 1: Document must begin
with an Element (e.g. <Book>) at line 1, char 1
at line 404, char 51

plugin_osso:osso_cb_hw_state_idle:(inact=0, save=0 shut=0, memlow=0, state=0)

the last line will be repeated some 3times a minute untill I make an end with Ctrl C

I tried different navit.xml files, compared their look to what I could find in wiki or other inetplaces, I just can't see, where there should be an error.
I now only can imagine a damage in xml-tools on systemside, but this is beyond my skills, so I would be thankful receiving any hint how to proceed further in finding the culprit,

solved... an entire reflash of phonesoftware did it... I purchased it on ebay and obviously the system was broken :rolleyes:
