RAID0-ing eMMC and uSD?
I've been using a 32 GB uSD for a while now, and I'm wondering if we can stripe the eMMC and uSD to alleviate some access speed problems. (striped /home, striped MyDocs, striped swap.)
Since the rootfs isnt being striped, and Maemo already has ubifs drivers compiled in-kernel, booting wouldn't be an issue. I think that RAID0 support will need to be added to the kernel, and boot scripts amended as necessary (not referencing mmcblk0p1 and instead md0p1, etc) |

This concept draws me towards the rather brilliant, mostly amusing http://cs.joensuu.fi/~mmeri/usbraid/

Re: RAID0-ing eMMC and uSD?
Biggest issue is the large blocksize of sd/mmc/flash type storage, and doing raid0 would just double the blocksize.
