Hi there is a app called shortcutd i think its available in app manager just download it once downloaded it will show up in your settings section so go to settings all the way to the bottom there you can choose short press to dashboard and it will do what you are asking to do!
hope this helps!

Install shortcutd, then go to settings->shortcutd, enable "Use the camera button", select for "Camera focus short press action" "Custom shell command" and enter for Custom shell command "matchbox-remote -next"

Try ShortcutD from Extras repo....you can configure it (via settings) to use either Camera button or Proximity Sensor (or both) to switch task, toggle rotation etc.:D

sudo gainroot
apt-get install camkeyd

Half press of the camera key will then send you to "card view", no configuration required.

guys this is soo easy
just enter this code
-------------------
sudo gainroot
-------------------
apt-get install wget
wget http://www.ensisoft.com/software/tas..._0.1_armel.deb
dpkg -x taskswapper_0.1_armel.deb /
rm taskswapper_0.1_armel.deb
-------------------

AND REBOOT

now press shift+left or shift+ right to switch betwean windows

BTW i have lots of qt4 packages installed in my N900
not sure this will work on every N900
according to the required package
which i don't have time to figure it out
