USB detect modes
 

Hey,

Does anyone happen to know if there is a way [or an app] to set a default memory card location when connecting to a computer or device?

What I am trying to do is...use the N900's external SD card as a memory card for music, which when I connect my phone to my car stereo, will detect the SD card only, and not the internal memory.

The stereo cannot handle the choice, so when I choose "mass storage mode" when prompted, it'll search internal memory. If I disconnect and reconnect several times it sometimes searches the SD card, which is what I want it to do all the time.

Can anyone help?

I think there was a setting somewhere about what to expose on USB mounting, but i'm searching taht for myself.... at least one possibility would be to change the export scripts.
