Skype video calling on N9/N950 ??
 

hello there its me again with another question :s
and this im really confused about it,
can anyone shed light on skype video calling in the N9 or the N950 ??

The N950 doesn't have Skype. It is said the N9 will, but I don't think anyone knows if video calls will be possible yet.

Someone said the N9 lacks a front camera. If so that rules it out.

saw the skype app in one of the youtube videos of n9

also there is ffc, it is in lower right

whether the two work together, we'll see

AFAIK
it has skype integrated into the OS and the front cam is definitly there, but the question is, does it supports video calling ? as almost all major OSes (except symbian) support skype video call ...

Not true. Previously Symbian have Skype video support via Fring. I was using it on Nokia 5800 Express (Slow) but works.

I hope the front camera is more useable this time around rather than completely leaving the N900's front cam for skype.

What else could we use the the front facing camera for? Seems kind of like a useless feature to have (other than self portraits perhaps) without video calling capability. I haven't seen one in person, but so far from what I've seen I really like the overall look of the N9, and think I might want to get one. However I would like the option to video call if it can be done.
