installed app but no icon please help
 

Not sure if this is the right place to ask.

I have developed an app in QT Creator and chose the project as Maemo.

The app works fine in the simulator.

But when the app is installed on the maemo using the following command.

sudo gainroot

dkpg -i g.deb

App is installed successfully but there is no icon.

When i go to add the icon on the desktop i can't find the icon.

But when i try to go in application manager to uninstall the app i can find my app.

app was installed in /opt/bin

Please advise how can i put an icon on the desktop.
