N900 screen problem
 

I've tried searching on the forum for answers but haven't found what I was looking for.

Earlier today I was texting using the keyboard and the screen started flashing then started going crazy, going yellow and jumping then the screen went completely black.

I turned the phone off for a few hours and turned it back on, the phone worked for about 4/5 hours and I started getting the same problem with the screen.

Has anyone heard of this problem? have a fix for it?
The only thing I've ever came across which was close was when the ribbon came loose in my laptop the same thing happened with the laptop screen.
Hopefully this won't cost anything or won't cost a huge amount of money to fix.

If that is the case, I would start with disassembling N900 and checking ribbon cable ;)
