Trouble with instant messaging
 

I have both pidgen and Gaim instant messaging (i d/l pidgen cause gaim wasnt working) but they both are saying that they can't connect, does this happen randomaly sometime or is something else affecting it running?

Sounds like a firewall somewhere might be blocking the services. Where are you trying to connect from? A single location or does this happen no matter where you are (such as using a hotspot somewhere)?

No I am connected at my house, where it worked 2 days ago, and now it doesn't.

Ok well I used a different connection and it worked, but still doesn't work on mine. If it is a firewall problem then how do I fix it? I jsut don't understand how it worked on the same connection a few days ago and now it doesn't.
