Keyboard problem - request azerty layout + dutch dictionary
 

Hi, I have a question about the keyboard in MeeGo/Harmattan. I live in Flanders-Belgium, we write in Dutch but are using Azerty keyboards like the French. When I want to have an AZERTY-keyboard for text entry, i have to chose the french language because the dutch one always gives QWERTY. The problem is that when you have chosen the French language for AZERTY keyboard, you deactivate the dutch dictionary for text input (but other menus in phone can be put on dutch).

Since MeeGo is supposed to be open source, would it be possible to add another language in the phone (with own name for example), which combines the azerty keyboard (available for french laguage) and dutch correction and prediction (dictionary available for dutch writing on qwerty keyboard).

It appears this remains an open wishlist item, or did someone manage to change the keyboard layout for Belgian Dutch to Azerty yet?

Nope not here.
Live in Flanders as well... Just get used to QWERTY :)
Shouldn't be that difficult. ;)
