Just mobile - Gum Plus Power pack
 

Hi, my colleague has a just-mobile - Gum Plus Power Pack
to arrange Battery charge for his Iphone when he needs long life with his Iphone.
I have tried it out on my N900 - Nothing happend ;-(
can't charge,
Any idea why this has failed ?

The Nokia phones require the USB data lines to be wired as well, not just the power lines.

My N8 does the same: it blinks for a moment when I plug the Gum Plus in, then nada. El Cheapo USB adapters don't work for the same reason, but for example the BlackBerry adapters are compatible.

I have tried with the BlackBerry USB adapter (USB-USB-micro cable), we have here in my companie ... Is the same problem ;-(
Any other (similar) solution somebody know here ?

I use a Justmobile Gum Pro and it works with my N900. Not on the first try thou, I had to insert the cable slowly.

I have a BB 8250 at work, it's mains adapter works fine with my phones. The USB cable itself is not enough, unfortunately.

I feel something is different with the pro version of Gum.
Let me wait my N900 is fully discharged to test again with.

Just use USB cable with D+D- shorted.

I think Estel is right..you can use usb cabel with D+D- shorted after that that would be not work then google is best way for any solution you know..:)
