[Announce] Wallet for N9/N950 (v1.6.3) and Wallet free into OVIStore
 

Hello,

After several days working on that I can publish an alpha version of Wallet application for N9/N950. There are still lot of missing functionalities, but important ones are working. Also all these people that were using Wallet on maemo, can migrate data from one to other, with import functionality.

Existing functionalities:
* Browse your cards
* Import xml/txt
* Add/update/delete cards

Yes, Wallet version 1.0.1 for N9 has been published into OVIStore. Now there is only a paid version, but I will publish a free version in a few days (I had some problems publishing the free version!).

Congrats, can you post some screen shots? I notice that you are now using QML for Wallet development.

what is the difference between free and paid versions?

hi, paid version supports several import formats, edit templates, image and separator fields, export images, duplicate cards, user can choose image size and language.
Both uses same encryption, you can test free version and buy full version later without migrate data.

Hi

Do you think it would be possible to create a plugin for the N9 browser to use Wallet for password entries. I look after a gazillion servers and it's a royal pain in the butt remembering unique, regularly changed root passwords!

I use 1Password on the Mac, which to me is a life saver and so far nothing has come close on Symbian or Maemo/MeeGo. I sync the agile.keychain between my Macs and an iPad too so no matter which I'm at, I've got the latest passwords.

Hello, it's something that I started with maemo, but I didn't have time to finished. Now with N9 it's something interesting. Otherwise you should be able to open wallet and go to your password, the click on password-label and it will be copied to clipboard.
