Why are the mods silent? Look at how many spam threads we've got! Spam messages are about some streaming service, they're filling TMO with $hit! Mods, ban their stupid a$ses out!

i would say MODs are silent perhaps due to meego/harmattan rage now a days ..besides MODs need to find time to fulfill their duties towards maemo community as well. nice thread .

I think a change to the forums with 1 or more of the following options

• captchas should be used for the first few posts of a new user
• a new user would be restricted to 1 post a day for a week
• a new user cannot start a new thread without posting to a current thread first

What do you think?

I dislike #2. New joiners often have multiple-post problems.
