Emoticons (iPhone & Android) not showing in conversations ?
 

Hello anyone, instead of seeing the emoticons I just get a weird kind-of asciisymbol with numbers when somebody sends me a text with emoticons with his/her iPhone or Android mobile. Is there a solution? Best, Alex

you have to edit your /usr/share/rtcom-messaging-ui/smilies/user/defalult.def file

add the following lines to the specific avatar
that you find in my file. don't edit it with a normal txt editor. gedit it's ok. leafpad too.. they are combined to work on one italian phone. you just have to extract what you need it wprks with the iphones smiley i tried it woth my friend. i did an hard work using his screenshots. and adding the symbol to the right avatar icon. ;) enjoy

PS: extract just the symbols don't copy all the words becouse you need to communicate in italian with this kind of file couse it's made for the italian users only.
