HotSpot Application for N800
 

Greetings:


Has any programer already or will develop an application for WiFi HotSpots.

I live in Montreal, Canada, and there is a network of about 140 HotSpots.

Can it be possible to develop an application for N800 the when you open the application it will direct you to the closest HotSpot from where you are located?

I know that someone in Montreal is developing such an application for OpenMoko, an Operating system for the Linux based Neo1973 Phone.

Can something be done for the Nokia N800?

There's no reason why it can't be done, but you could pretty much have the same thing if you add the hotspots as Points of Interest in Maemo Mapper.
