Hi,
Where is it possible to download from the skype for N800 deb version. I'de like to strait install on the device?

There's like 19 .debs you would need to install Skype in this way.

That's too much trouble and honestly wouldn't be worth it.

.. so what is the best way to install skype on a new flashed N800 ?
Where can I get it at all?

You just install it from the Application Manager.

Make sure you have Extras in your Catalog. :)

Skype is on the default catalogue.tableteer.nokia.com repository, no need to add extras or anything else. A freshly-flashed Diablo should have a "skype-installer" package pre-installed, which can be used to install the real thing.

Hi.

I've searching around and you have to go in your tablet, in the app manager, change the catalogue distribuition field to "chinook diablo" in every entries. It will search for both chinook (older OS2008) and diablo.

This worked for me and i was able to install skype. If it asks for installing a nokia catalogue just accept it.

Also i've moved the bundle video from my n800 to the external SD to have more space.
