Selling n900 with the 'no SIM card' problem
 

Hi Guys,

I've been a long-time lurker here and happy owner of my n900 for almost 2 years now (and still have my n810). My n900 is out of warranty and finally bit the dust in the fashion of the often-mentioned 'no SIM access' issue some others have suffered. Essentially, the whole thing works fine, but it doesn't recognize your SIM card - wifi, etc. still all work. I've sent it to a couple repair shops, neither of which were able to fix the issue, and Nokia in the US doesn't seem to do their own repairs.

It could still be useful to a developer, or it could be scrapped for parts, etc. If anyone would be interested in buying it, please send me a PM, and we can talk. Feel free to post questions and such here, too.
