CPU profile switch
Hi I know there is lots of post around dealing with dynamic CPU and overcloakin as well as battery life improvement - one can spend days reading all thous.
But as I'm not strong with terminal I was wandering if there are any application that I can install using App. Man. that would do following: 1) switch CPU profiles upon wakeup: a) When Idle uses less CPU like 250MHz b) When awake uses more CPU like 600MHz2) has GUI CPU profile switch - like desktop widget or something that would enable to switch from awake profile (600MHz) to fast profile (1050MHz) and back. This can be done before you want to watch 720p video or play some heavy game. 3) has GUI for settings where you can define all thous profiles and frequencies without using fancy terminal commands. I apologize in advance if this overlaps with any post that I have missed. |
