which one to get?
 

I just finished my 1st desktop build and now selling my laptop. She'll take it next week for $800 which I want to use for a new smart phone. I'm not a fan of iPhone, never. I own n900 and SGS right now so android phone is not on the list. I have my eyes on n9 and Lumia. Should I get n9 now? or wait for Lumia?? and why? Thanks!

It seems to me that Windoze Phone has many of the same limitations as the iPhone, thus N9 wins by default. :)

N9 is Megadeth, Lumia is Metallica. :p (N9 will sell fewer, but is clearly superior).

Any big issues on n9? convince me more. and btw, when to get n9? now? wait for black friday? or after 2 months to get it cheaper? Not really in rush of getting it.

I'll probably go with n9 since I just started my programming class. I would love to work with n9 openness. :)

If youre in no rush, wait 2 years and get it used on ebay.

If not, just go get one right now.

I got mine just for the novelty of having the successor to the N900.

However Ive grown to love it far more than my SGS2 or N8, by FAR.

Id say theres no real question. Get the N9 now, wait for WP8 Nokia line and then reassess. Thats my plan.

I had the same question. Really want to buy n9 as I've had such a good experience with my n900, just worried if it goes faulty about the support I'd get from Nokia. If it was officially available on contract I'd get it tomorrow.

Have seen a Lumia on a 12 month contract (with dial a phone) so thinking that might be a good choice whilst waiting for something better. Really like the design just a shame its such a downgrade from n9. :(
