Is it possible to when N900 connects to a computer, to make a list of every file on connected computer's hard drive?

I thought of the idea earlier and thought as the N900 has a usb Host capability this could be possible.

Plus I thought it would be pretty kwel :D

To achieve this, desktop computer should be configured to act as usb client, which, most of the time, isn't default.

Other means are ssh and so goes on, but everything of this kind also require preparation on host computer - with administrative rights, fortunately.

So, no script-kiddies pseudo "hacking" desktops of other people, for You ;)
