Connect through Wi-Fi with different MAC address?

I'm changing wlan0 MAC address with:
ifconfig wlan0 hw ether 00:11:22:33:44:55
and it successfully change the address... untill I connect! Before the connection take place, it is automatically changed back to the original MAC...

How can I connect with different MAC address? Or how to prevent restoring the original MAC when connecting to the Wi-Fi network?

Re: Connect through Wi-Fi with different MAC address?

you tried macchanger?

Re: Connect through Wi-Fi with different MAC address?

Yes, I've tried but macchanger do the same thing as "ifconfig wlan0 hw ether 00:11:22:33:44:55" I mention before. Doesn't change the MAC permanently so when connecting, the original address is restored.

Re: Connect through Wi-Fi with different MAC address?

last time I checked in my router macchanger worked as it should. New macadress-> reconnect -> new ip and in router a new device listed...

Don't know what could be wrong with yours :o
