Convince me the N9 is better than the N900
 
As a lot of people in this community know me (at least I like to think ;) they know I'm a big fan of my N900 and use it as it was designed (heavy IT work, heavy Linux work)

Is the N9 worth the swap, or should I just stick with the N900?

N9 is a sack of ****, you will get no heavy linux/sysadmin work done with it.

Also you are not good enough for an n950.

This is true, I agree with vi_ on this fact, it isn't a heavy linux or sysadmin phone like the N900 was/is

Haha, people are running the exact same firmware as I am on the N9... how does it make the phone better? A lack of a hardware keyboard isn't what's crippling the N9, it's Nokia itself that is doing that.

A good HWKB can make a huge difference. It changes the way you interact with the phone. Maybe its the early period of having no HWKB but I focus mostly on how I am typing - fixing, moving between words, correcting etc then the wonderful UI that i'm presented with. Almost forced to use the phone on portrait as a landscape view means the vkb pretty much occupies 75% of the screen. Dont believe me? Try having a IM chat on landscape.

I'm accustomed to it by now... but I also came from the N8.
