error message: cannot remove, file or directory is corrupted and unreadable
There is a non-sys. folder (just a folder w/ personal files & docs) that I can't seem to delete from the N900.
I get an error message saying that it cannot be removed, "file or directory is corrupted and unreadable." Stranger still, this oddball folder is not even visible on the N900 file manager. I can only see it when browsing files w/ it connected to my Windows PC. I've done some searches here and w/ Google. There isn't too much I found in the forums on this topic yet. From elsewhere, though, clearly this is a not uncommon PC problem, but I wonder how to handle it when on a device like the N900? Thank you for any help. |

had a similar problem with some broken symlinks I used the following and was able to get the symlinks removed.

try the Long Path Tool to fix this and its related errors. Just go to google and search for Long Path Tool. The top most link in search results is the link to this useful too..
