well i have found the url for slingplayer for connected devices and it seems to work on my desktop but i really want it for my n900! i cant seem to figure out why it stops at 99% i have tweak flash to the latest flash but i cant tell why it stops right at 99%. any help would be greatly appreciated!

try replacing libflashplayer.so from here:
http://maemo.jacekowski.org/binary/

It's version 10 and stable... not sure how will it'll go.
you'll need to backup and replace your /usr/lib/browser/plugins/libflashplayer.so

hmmmm, im not a huge fan of replacing my root files, and if you did already can u just try and load that url and see if u actually get to a loggon screen?

well, i tried it and it did the exact same thing, went to 99% and stopped..... anybody else have any ideas?

any clues???? on my ps3 it goes up to 50% and stops, on n900 it stops at 99%. theres gotta be something blocking it

One possible way to implement slingplayer on n900 is to use unofficial slingbox sdk @ sourceforge: http://slingboxsdk.sourceforge.net/

I managed to compile the basic recorder and it runs on n900 and saves the current stream as asf-file. Mplayer plays the recorded asf-file with good guality. Channel changing does not work with my setup.
