N900 Maemo TV Out -- No video output
 

I am trying to connect my N900 to my TV (LG Flatron Golden Eye) using the tvout cable (came in the N900 box). However, I receive no video output whatsoever. I have installed the tvout control widget and tried various settings including NTSC/PAL, resolution sizes and scales. I have tried other solutions on this forum too but to no avail.

I am sure my TV ports are working properly as it renders appropriate display when I connect my camera to it.
