Wireless Data: how to Autoconnect?
 

OK:

I am probably being really dim, but my N9 doesn't seem to like to autoconnect to wireless data. I seem to always have to connect manually. (Although, once I'm connected, it tends to stay connected.)

(And yes, I do allow 'Background Data Connections')

Does anyone else have this problem?

Open the internet connections from the status bar and long tap on the connection you want to use automatically and select "use automatically".
