Language Problems
Hello everyone, and thanks for your help.
Since Telcel at Mexico intentionally blocked access to Skype and other apps, I searched through this forum and found a couple of similar answers. So I try them. But no matter what, now all the strings for the device UI are now something like: qtn_whatever_whatever I tried with: apt-get -y install account* l10n-app* (didn't work) and also apt-get -y install l10n-app* that installed some packages but didn't worked even after rebooting the device. I tried to change the language to english (from my spanish/Mexico) but it did not worked. I'm desperate since the solutions didn't worked and now my phone can't display labels and strings. I can't even found the translation files to do it myself. Please help me!!!! The complete procedure to screw it all is: http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=80928&page=2 That in short is: Code:
devel-su https://qa9recEP:Pat2UGuP@downloads..../harmattan/xxx ./ to https://qa9recEP:Pat2UGuP@downloads..../harmattan/001 ./ I can't even remember the original code changed. And then: Code:
apt-get update Code:
apt-get -y install l10n-app* |
