Multiple Instances of modest and browserd
 

I was wondering if there's a way to free up memory by eliminating some of the instances of modest and browserd that always seem to be running.
I currently have 12 instances of modest running on my device and 5 instances of browserd.

In total they appear to be consuming a fairly large amount of memory.

I've had this issue for as long as I can remember but haven't done much about it, just wondering if anyone can explain to me why there are so many instances and/or propose a solution.
