Backup/Export NOTES on N9
 

Experts, is there a way to backup or export the notes on N9?

I know that there are couple of nice app available for notes but I’m interested only to backup/export the original notes on N9. I’ve tried Nokia Link, PC Suite as well as Nokia Suite 3.2.100 but none of them managed to get my notes back.

I assume those are secured somewhere on the phone.

Hmm, tried notes exporter but it exported only 2 of my notes. Maybe there is a restriction on this, anyways only exporting does not help since I need to import them as well.

Will check the other guidance in the post and see if it works.

exNote is a notetaking application for N9 which saves the notes as HTML in MyDocs

Search for "Notekeeper" in the store. Its a really good Evernote cliant.

Nokia Suite 3.6.36 syncs notes (and contacts/calender) just fine with local Outlook 2010.

I recently backed up my N9 manually through ssh, saving all of the user directory. To my surprise, the calendar db file didn't come along. Fortunately though smartsearch had cached all my sms and notes in a nice database.

This database is stored at ~/.smartsearch/vtvmc.db

Opening that with sqliteman allowed me to export a very nice HTML table with all the values.
