[SOLVED] Nokia N9 error message: "Can't export contacts"

I'm trying to export all my Nokia N9 contacts, but when I go to Contacts->Menu->Export contacts->"File"->"Mark all"->Done, I get an error message saying "Can't export contacts".

Why?

Anyone else seeing this? How can I debug this?

Are there any other way (via eg. command line) to export all my contacts?

Have you used " / " in any contact name ? ... it might be that one and it is fixed in PR 1.2 ... I think that I read about it in PR 1.2 bug fixex, but I can not remember which bug number ...

Yes! That was it - I had a couple of contacts with "/" in the name, and even one with "?". I changed those, and now it worked, thanks!

@tiiagoFernandez
File(actually many .vcf files, one for every contact) is written to /home/user/MyDocs/Contacts/
And yes, you can import them back or in any device supporting .vcf format.

Unfortunately, the only option to import the contacts back to the device is via another device (over BT), or a service... I miss that feature in Symbian wherein all I have to do is copy the contacts folder in my SD Card and select 'import contacts'

Come to think of it, maybe I should file a 'features-request in the bug' section.....

I'm almost certain someone came up with an app to do something like this.
I think it was still fairly "hackish", but the framework was there...

Can't you import vcard files back?

I just remembered that is not the only option.. think with me guys :)
Export to .vcf files, then copy the folder to a computer. reflash or whatever you need to do, then copy back the folder back to N9.
Final steps, use filebox or another file manager app to open the .vcf and then just need to "touch" save. The only problem is that you have to do this one by one. At least the export is for all :D
