Automatically Enter Offline Mode
 

Does anyone know any method the N800 can automatically enter Offline Mode ?

Sometimes I forget to set offline mode and then a day later all the batteries are gone !

In Connection manager, under Tools->Connectivity Settings, make the following changes:

General
Connect automatically: None

Idle times
Packet data idle time: 5 mins
WLAN idle time: 10 mins


This will turn off your WLAN/GPRS connection after 5-10 mins of inactivity.

Are you sure that the WiFi and Bluetooth chip are turned OFF and not just in stand-by/idle mode ?
