RDesktop on Nokia 770
 

Hello,

Just purchased a Nokia 770 and was wondering if someone could help me troubleshoot getting RDesktop installed? I did install it and when I run it, I'm taken to the prompt window to enter the IP address. I enter it and hit connect but it doesn't do anything..

Now my question is, does ports work on this? Since my RD runs on ip:xxxx (not 3389).

Interesting enough, after I posted this, I tried again to install rdkesktop and this time it worked as far as taking me to the login screen.

But I can't enter a password (even though I entered in it the original login screen of rdesktop).

Has anyone experienced this? :confused:

Are you sure you are not entering it with a default capital letter that is automatically selected on the Nokia keyboard?
Just a thought.

Thanks for your reply. I verified the password was correct, just to make sure.

I think the problem is that I am using the DigitalPersona Password Manager and I think rdesktop gets thrown off.

Oh well.
