N900 as an input device to PCs

Bamboo touch pads are stylus based input devies and have the ability to provide touch input to pcs..they have the same touch facility as the screen of the n900. i was wondering if it is possible - in maemo or even as a boot alternate, to use the n900 like a stylus realtime input device..not like a mouse but like a photoshop editting or windows tablet input tool..

I'd like to see this - especially as a drawing tablet...

but probably its much easier under linux. not on windows - ok, I know nothing about windows, since I start to know programming after I moved to linux...

Linux host - X Forwarding (no touch strength sensing)
Windows host - RDP (crap)
