extra repositories not working in application manager
 

hi just got my n900 and wanted to add the extra repositories but every time i go to refresh them in application manager it returns with an error

sub-process gzip returned an error code (1)

i checked the spelling and seems alright,

i also get the same error in FAM what could be up here

try it at console and look for error messages, then post em here.

okie i tried what you suggested and it returns with

http://repository.maemo fremantle/free packages

sub-process gzip returned an error code (1)

ign http://repository.maemo.org fremantle/ free packages

err 404 not found [213.120.161.144 80]

it says this for all the repos

problem fixed was a typo on extra should have been extras
