[Bug] Message Notification Repeating
 

Hi there,
I have a Nokia N9 cyan with pr1.1 and im experiencing this annoying bug.

Everytime i get an SMS or Chat notification, the device repeats the alert at least 3 times for the sound, and vibration a lot of time, like 10-20 secs.

This is not only annoying but power consuming.

Anyone has experienced this ?

Yes I've seen it once. But after a reboot it went away. Don't remember if it was PR1 or 1.1 though.

Search the tracker for it. If you're sure it's not there, then report it.
Especially if you're able to reproduce it easily/regularly...

There's a good chance it's already been reported, & will be fixed in 1.2/3.
But it's a good idea to report anyway if you can't find it in the tracker.
If it's a duplicate the devs will eventually merge it with the original report.

If you do report it share it with everyone here, maybe even put it in your sig.

This is happening to me now :/
Vibration works fine on apps that use it (ex; MTimer) but on sms is vibrating for a long time!
Im on PR 1.3
Gonna try reboot :/

Finally understood this bug, and got it fixed..
It has to do with the sounds that you choose for your sms notification.. If you choose one that repeats itself, or that is not ready made for messages, the vibration it will try to mimic the sound.. Weird sh*t!

So what i did what chose one ringtone that starts with "message" "clock" or "email" and its working fine.
Later im gonna try with custom ringtones from internet.

Im running PR 1.3
