Need help n900 remote control

Hello all :)

I'm looking for an remote control. I already have Rdesktop and it works. But that's not the program i wanted. I mean, When I play mp3 music or something like that, I can't hear it, because to connect to the pc using Rdesktop, requires you to log off with that account on your pc, before connecting it with your n900. So otherwire, when i play music i can't hear it,

Is there an remote control like, changing music, watching film from my computer using my n900?

Help would be really appreciated :)
ps. Sorry for my bad english
ps2. Sorry if I made a thread on the wrong section

I don't know if this will help but I think that Pierogi is the best remote control (it supports so many devices and brands). I haven't tried it on computers...
If you want give it a try...you have nothing to lose...

I also think that Pierogi might be a good choice, but then I'm biased. :)

Pierogi can indeed be used as a remote control for Windows PCs, but only via an infrared port on the PC. (Most "Media Center Edition" PCs now come with IR ports. You can also purchase an IR receiver for your PC if you don't already have one.)

There are other options available if you'd prefer to connect to your PC by bluetooth or wifi. And I think there are better options than Rdesktop on the N900, if you're looking to run a full remote desktop.

With all due respect to Copernicus's great Pierogi app, I don't think Pierogi is the app you are looking for in this case (I recommend installing it anyway though). It seems you wish to control your PC. If you wish to control everything on that PC then look at VNC. If it's just a media player you wish to control then take a look at Bluemaemo if your PC has bluetooth..
