[Theme] Cyan75
 

Ok, so after the release, with all the fixes and pr1.2 working smoother, some of the other mods were not needed. I have started building a new theme from scratch!

The previous theme was built off of F2thaK's F.D.B. Theme which included many other mods and he did a great job on it!

This new theme is going to first be with Cyan for all those that have a Black or Cyan device, and I will be adding some of my own mods to the theme that are basic.

This is the first release, and since it is PR1.2, and this is my own rendition, it will be called Cyan75 v2.0

There is still much work to be had on this, but it should be a good start for anyone that wants to try it. I have tested this and it works fine on my device.

It would be great to keep this thread going during the evolution of the theme as any help in knowing what is missing or other ideas to incorporate into it are welcome. Even though I have two devices, sometimes after hours, it just gets hard to see what is the difference and missing. Please be sure to post screen shots to help with what is missing or needs to be fixed.

I suggest that you use the Theme Changer as it makes it easier. It is also included in the zip file to download along with some instructions on how to use it.

will be doing a megenta theme after. i have one already, but it was from pr1.1.

once this is complete, i will convert the colors over to magenta.

What about the transitions? Can you speed them up a little bit?

my themes work with pr1.2, but may limit functionality to pr1.1

That's cool , you could introduce F2thak's themes too .

I've noticed one bug , I can not hide weather anymore , it's always enabled .

Can you suggest on what file to edit to retain the original call avatar and end button.

As F2thaK said, his theme works with pr1.2!

This is just going to be different, about 80%.


Both will have dark backgrounds, with lighter fonts.

F2thak will have some other mods that are different too, like the speed transitions etc, and eventually, this will too, but they will not be identical to his.

F2thak's themes are great, they are what prompted me to make my own after I asked about a cyan one....and it came to me...make my own darn theme! ;) ...and, instead of hijacking the FDBT thread, thought it better to create a seperate one specific to the theme.

Also, the FDBT is initiated with a sh script to install. I believe I understand why as to the different mods and where those need to go, in comparing to what the theme customizer does, so, time permitting, i will work on adding some of the other mods down the road and try to get this into a deb if i can figure out how to package one, or someone is able to help me with that.

you want to look for it in the:



if you do not want the call-ui mods, just delete the "call-ui" folder from the theme before you transfer it to /usr/share/theme/ folder and the avatar and button size will default to the original.
