Re: HTC One X
....and that my friends is what the N900 users did to Nexus One owners.

Re: HTC One X
I know this isn't probably the right thread to advocate a damn thing... but the HTC One X has my attention. Way moreso than the Nexus did...

Re: HTC One X
This time they've gone back to the whiteboard and are trying new tactics, and I think for the better. I'm still not quite convinced as I discovered their Sense ROMs were the furthest iteration from AOSP ROMs... and their processors (Qualcomm SoCs) were the furthest iteration from ARM SoCs. I found a mountain of difference between the SGSII and Sensation, mostly in favour of the S2 as it was closer to the "stock experience".
But I don't like the naming scheme. Sure XL implies extra large; hence big screen. And X implies futuristic/extreme and thus the flagship. But the V and S are weaker implicators. And "One" is a weaksauce name, if they went with something like "DROID" or "EVO" then it would go great. For example: -EVO mini (cheapest and smallest model) -EVO type (qwerty version) -EVO X (high-end flagship...aka SGSII competitor) -EVO XL (most expensive, largest, niche product...aka SGNOTE competitor) |

Re: HTC One X
I wonder how the SGS3's Exynos 5xxx will stack up against QC's S4 (Krait).
This might be the first time in 2 years since Samsung's flagship has been inferior to another android oem's flagship. |
