Easy Debian. Cannot install any package help needed.
 

i installed easy Debian today. i am very new in this OS, when i go to synaptic pkg mg (assuming we can install apps via this) i searched for blender. and it was downloading but i got some error .............

later i got this when i try diffrent packages(now even in blender)



i want to see or view only my 3d models(.dae) using Debian.(not want to create or edit)

Now either suggest me some software for this or help me installing lender

i try k3d also but i got same erorr every time

what to do?

Hi,

You are doing everything right, so don't worry. What that error means is that the file you want to install is not available (doesn't exist anymore) at that internet address. You need to find it from somewhere else.

its a network error i Guess... got the same error while installing VLC .. switching internet did the trick...

try downloading from some other wifi or Network..

will it work fine on n900?(blender)?

if so i will change my internet connection (though it is slow 2g internet 10kb/s , that is why i asked before download it)i would go for it, if it works flawlessly. thanks! in advanced

@zlatokosi is correct file isn't on the server right now..

i think there was one usefull post where the links are dead.
BTW i tried to install few more softwares in LXDE but every time i get erorr . also my open office,ice weasel web b, deian charoot , dont open?

is there anything wrong i have done?

one more question can i uninstall charoot? (i dont think it is for me since i am a noob here)

The sulu image has no /etc/groups file, therefore no group crontab exists. so, I created the group with:

and I try to install R now.
