Problem saving edited photos that have been imported to my PC
 

When I import photos taken on my N9 to my PC I can edit them using Windows Live Photo Gallery (eg crop, adjust exposure or colours, rotate etc) but when I try to save the changes I get an error "This photo can't be saved because of a problem with the photo's file properties". I'm not very technical but I have checked things like read-only status etc in file properties and that's not the issue.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE can somebody help me?

why not use photoshop or gimp !!

don't worry, still their are plenty of solutions to fix an image not working in any image editor:)

Method-1
1 download irfan view and its plugins its FREE
http://www.irfanview.com/main_download_engl.htm

2 open your file in irfan view and save it as .PNG or .JPG(with other name)

3 now open the converted file in your image editor hopefully it will work...


Other solution that will work 100%(ok 100 is too much lts say 70%;))

Method-2
1 open your web browser on Pc say opera web browser

2 in web browsers address bar type
this will show you your windows files in your browser

3 browse it to your file and click on it. This will open your file in your browser

4 now right click on image and select "copy" or "copy image" whatever

5 open your image editor and create a new document or (ctrl+n)

6 resize your new document to your image size(dimension's), or else it wont fit

7 press "Ctrl+V" or paste... this will paste your image(copied from web browser) in this document.. & hopefully you will be able to edit and save it.. :confused:
